Investment Management ERP

An enterprise system supporting investment administration and financial workflows, from investor records to investment lots and transactions.

Context

The problem it addresses

Administering investments means keeping reliable records of who has invested, what they hold, and every transaction that changes it.

This system supports those administrative and financial workflows, with relationships between records modeled explicitly and access limited by role. Business-specific details are intentionally not described here.

Purpose
Support investment administration with structured, access-controlled records.

Perspective

Engineering perspective

  • Financial records need a data model where every change is explained by a transaction, not by editing a number.
  • Separating investors, investments and lots makes the relationships explicit and keeps queries understandable.
  • Access control is easier to get right when it is designed together with the data model.
